From October 13-16th 2011 the Jan Sobieski hotel in Warsaw, Poland, became home to some of Europe’s most active and outspoken youth activists to discuss the international state of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) from youth perspectives. I’m an active member of the Student Stop AIDS Campaign coordinated by Restless Development and attended on the organisation’s behalf.

An academic paper evaluating the work that we have done in Zambian schools during 2008/09 has been published on the Oxford Journals' Health Education Research website. The article is centred around the effects our Volunteer Placement Educators (VPEs) programme has on students' HIV and sexual and reproductive health knowledge, which methods have been most successful in educating the students, how the results compare to students who were not in such programmes and the costs of the methods and the program as a whole.

At this time we are looking to recruit 3 Trustees including: (1) a Young Trustee (in line with our youth-led approach), (2) Two Trustees with strong management and/or finance experience to supplement the current skills of the Board.
