Our patron and former Chairman of Tesco, David Reid, has been given a knighthood in the New Year Honours; one of only two knighthoods from the business sector this year.

World AIDS Day - 1st DECEMBER!
December the 1st is World AIDS Day, 30 years since the first case was identified. 30 million people have died as a result of AIDS since then and young people account for half of all new infections, that's approximately 3 million a year. Here at Restless Development we want to see that figure reduced and eventually eradicated and you can help us on the 1st December by getting involved in some of our online activities!

Help to see a decline in AIDS by 2020
December 1 is World AIDS Day, 30 years after the first case was identified. In that time 30 million people have died as a result of AIDS. But, as this short film shows, incredible advances in science made this year mean that for the first time we can speak credibly about bringing an end to AIDS.

Restless Development Present Youth-Led Advocacy
Earlier this month, in a packed lecture theatre at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, our CEO Eric Levine spoke about why we think advocacy is so important for development. The event was the first in a series of discussions on advocacy and development organised by the London International Development Centre (LIDC) and ONE.

Youth Meet for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights
From October 13-16th 2011 the Jan Sobieski hotel in Warsaw, Poland, became home to some of Europe’s most active and outspoken youth activists to discuss the international state of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) from youth perspectives. I’m an active member of the Student Stop AIDS Campaign coordinated by Restless Development and attended on the organisation’s behalf.
