Restless Development coordinates Advocates for Action - a global network of young people advocating on issues related to youth sexual and reproductive health and rights. We believe young people have the right to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information, services and justice, and that policy makers are not doing enough or allocating resources appropriately to make this a reality.
Through education and training, Advocates for Action builds the capacity of young people to mobilise and stand up for their peers worldwide.
In January 2008, Advocates for Action held a Parliamentary event in conjunction with the all-party parliamentary group on population, development and reproductive health, launching our advocacy toolkit with great success. We have been refining this toolkit since, and sharing it with like-minded organisations and individuals.
In July 2010, Advocates for Action will be running a 4 day training event at the Vienna AIDS conference, providing young people from all over the EU tools and techniques for training their peers in advocacy.
